Seneca Platers’ Quality Management System and process control test methods assure the customer of Seneca Platers’ commitment to processing a quality product. Seneca Platers works everyday to exceed our organization’s Quality Policy:

Purchase Orders
Interaction with suppliers will be conducted by person, phone, written and/or electronically for Seneca Platers’ purchase order requirements:
- Suppliers performance are controlled and monitored for on time delivery and accuracy of product; including relevant technical data and/or certifications
- Special requirements, key characteristics, critical items and/or production process verifications are to be communicated to supplier
- Suppliers ensure that persons are competent and aware of contribution to product conformity, product safety and the importance of ethical behavior
- Suppliers need to notify Seneca Platers’ of changes to processes, products, or services, including changes of their external providers or location of manufacture, and obtain Seneca Platers’ approval
- Suppliers need to flow down to external providers applicable requirements including customer requirements
- Suppliers need to provide test specimens for inspection/verification, investigation, or auditing
- Suppliers need to retain documented information, including retention requirements when applicable
- Suppliers need to implement a quality management system
- Suppliers need to use customer-designated or approved external providers, including process sources, as applicable
- Suppliers need to notify Seneca Platers of nonconforming processes, products, or services and obtain approval for their disposition
- Suppliers need to prevent the use of counterfeit parts
- Suppliers need to notify the Seneca Platers periods and disposition requirement
- Right of access by Seneca Platers, their customers, and regulatory authorities to the applicable areas of all facilities, at any level of the supply chain involved in the PO and to all applicable documented information
